Lebara Mobile SIM Card:

What is a SIM card?

A SIM card is a removable microchip that establishes a network connection when inserted into a mobile phone.

Where can I purchase my Lebara Mobile SIM card?

Lebara Mobile SIM cards and balance top-ups are available at more than 150,000 sales outlets all over Spain. To find the store nearest you contact customer services at 901 810 810.

What does the Lebara Mobile SIM card come with?

The Lebara Mobile SIM card comes with an initial balance of 10 € that may be used after completing registration (in accordance with Law 25/2007 on Data Retention).

I’ve lost my PIN/PUK code – how can I get it back?

PIN and PUK codes are numerical codes that protect your SIM card. PIN (personal identification number) codes are composed of 4 digits. If you enter the wrong PIN code several times, the phone will ask for your PUK code. You have a total of three tries to enter the correct PIN code.

The PUK (personal unblocking key) code is composed of 8 digits. You have three tries to enter the right code.

How long is my SIM card valid for? Does it have an expiry date?

When the available Call Credit balance of your SIM is zero (0 €) and/or three (3) months have passed since your last top-up, Lebara Móvil, as per our Terms & Conditions, will block the SIM card and, if it applies, will freeze the available balance.  This means you will not be able to make calls or send SMS/MMS. However, you will be able to receive calls, make reverse-charge calls and calls to Emergency Services. If you top-up the SIM card in the same month following the "block", Lebara Móvil will accumulate the balance frozen to the amount recharged and the SIM card will be unblocked in order that you can use the service normally. If you do not top-up the SIM card in the period of one (1) month from the "block", as per our Terms & Conditions, the SIM card will be deactivated, the telephone number lost and any available balance will forfeited.

Why doesn’t my SIM card work?

First make sure your phone is an unlocked mobile – in other words, that it accepts SIM cards from any operator. Also make sure your SIM card is correctly inserted into the phone. The following problems may occur:

The SIM card is improperly inserted. If you have recently dropped, struck or opened your mobile phone, the SIM card may need some adjustment. Try removing it and then re-inserting it.
The SIM card is dirty. Make sure the SIM card contact surface is clean. If your SIM card is rejected, try removing and cleaning it. Then re-insert it in the mobile.
There’s no network signal. The SIM card will take a few moments to capture the signal for the first time. Wait a few more seconds…

If your SIM card still doesn’t work, contact customer services at 901 810 810.

Why doesn’t my mobile phone ring or notify me that a call is coming in?

Make sure your phone is turned on and that the signal is strong enough.

When some mobile phone models are connected to a hands-free kit, the ring can be heard only through the hands-free kit and not through the telephone loudspeaker. Disconnect the device and try the phone again to see if that will resolve the problem.

When the mobile phone profile is set to “Silent,” “Airplane,” “Online,” or any other profile in which the ring is silenced, the ring will not be heard. Change the profile to “General” or “Normal” and try again.

Make sure that the ring tone has been activated and that the volume is not too low.

If call forwarding has been activated, your calls may be going directly to the voicemail without the phone ringing.

Why doesn’t it ask for my PIN?

When you insert the SIM card you will not be asked to enter your PIN. But if you wish to activate it you have that option through your internet terminal or your mobile phone.
